Mayor ofoegbu joined nollywood in 2006. He first big job was in Ghana. A movie directed by Ikechukwu Onyeka. He left the industry and returned in 2013 to officially kick off his acting career. He has featured in over 300 Nigerian films. He is the CEO of Mayor ofoegbu films, a movie director with over20 films to his credit and currently the Onitsha zonal coordinator for Actors guild of Nigeria. He speaks Igbo, English and Hausa languages fluently. He is married and a father of 3 children.
