Spanish composer Guillermo Pita has written, orchestrated and arranged works that have premiered at some of Madrid's most prominent concert halls as well as the National Radio (RNE) and Television (TVE) of Spain. Parallel to his composition education at the Madrid Royal Conservatory, Guillermo completed a university academic degree in Film, Television and Media Studies at Universidad Carlos III de Madrid and worked as a broadcaster at Radio Clásica, the classical music station of the National Radio of Spain. Having composed original music for documentaries, advertising campaigns and over fifty fiction and experimental short films, in 2020 he received the prestigious "La Caixa" fellowship for postgraduate studies in Europe to promote his education in the field of film music composition at the Royal College of Music, where he is also an award holder of the John Barry Scholarship for Film Composition.
