Franchesca Steenkamp

South African Born and breed. Growing up around the country, from the small towns and farm areas outside of Johannesburg to city life in both Cape town and Johannesburg. Franchesca attained a scholarship straight out of school for arts. And pursued studies in both design and animation. Unable to see a future in an office she found herself at a modeling agency as it became clear she wanted to continue to explore the outdoors. While modeling, she soon realised that acting would be come her main goal. She has traveled abroad with securing many clients as well though modeling with her then agency Fanjam model management. Franchesca Steenkamp is now with Hey Jude's model management in South Africa as mother agency, Her skills include dance performance, forms of martial arts, yoga, scuba diving and of course a raw talent in sketching and painting. She has 5 sisters and two brothers. Both parents alive. And well. Franchesca did find her childhood difficult due to unforeseen circumstances from family and was raised by welfare. Most notably a cape town home for children with Jewish heritage. She has pushed many boundaries and limitations and does impeccably well within the south African fashion and commercial/film industry. A history in dramatic arts and a knack for being natural in front of camera. She still resides in South Africa. An extremely creative at heart
