Kandis Alayne Boone

Kandis Alayne Boone (born Kandis Alayne Guice) was born in Nashville, TN July 21st 1993. She grew up in Dalton, GA and discovered a passion for vocal performance at a very young age. She began vocal training at age 8, and transitioned soon into local musical theatre where she discovered her love for acting. After graduating high school (Northwest Whitfield High School) she declared a Theatre Major at Kennesaw State University, but had to postpone her degree after being diagnosed with APL Leukemia in 2012. She returned to school at The University of Tennessee at Chattanooga after 8 month of IV chemo, and declared a new major- Communications with a concentration on Television and Radio broadcast- while finishing her assigned two years of oral chemotherapy. She completed her treatment plan in March of 2015 and was declared, "cured." She graduated in 2016 from UTC with a B.A. in Communications and a Minor in Psychology. Her boyfriend Andrew Boone (whom she met in 2011 when they played the roles of Belle and Beast in a community production of Beauty and the Beast) proposed to her on her graduation day. The two were married on September 30, 2017. She signed with Chattanooga Agency, Top Talent Management, in 2017.
