Tyler Kennedy

Tyler David Kennedy was born 1989 in Fort Dodge, a working class city in Central Iowa, to his Mother, Sara who is of Welsh decent and father, Marc E. Kennedy of Irish decent. When he was three years old, he, his mother and brother moved from Fort Dodge to a few different small towns before taking root in Moorland, IA, a town of approx. two hundred people. His mother came to be a small business owner there meeting Tyler's step-father who worked at the local grain elevator. Tyler claims " I was usually pretty bored as a kid, where I grew up. I mean you can only crash a bicycle so many times, so there wasn't really much to do and I didn't have many friends my age there in town so luckily I had access to a lot of different movies. It was a great escape and also one of the biggest educators in my life." "Mom worked too hard to notice so staying up to 3am on school nights, watching 90's action/crime movies movies was a common occurence for me." Tyler graduated from Prairie Valley High School in 2007 from a class of 58 students, then moved to Des Moines, IA where he attended, American Institute of Business, graduating with a BA in Hospitality, Business MGMT. After college, Tyler took an opportunity to relocate with his brother to Tempe AZ, from which he then moved to Downtown, Los Angeles shortly after, by himself at the age of 23. He said his biggest influence(s) include David Ayers, Ryan Coogler, Dennis Villeneuve and Clint Eastwood.
