Oscar Armando was born in Fountain Valley, California to Ana Beltran and Sergio Siliezar [Si-li-e-zar] who both worked in Orange County at the time and who both originated from El Salvador. Oscar's parents separated when he was a young boy, leaving him and his three brothers to be raised by a single mother. On Christmas Eve 2016, Oscar reconnected with his absent father after so many years and discovered that he had once been an aspiring filmmaker in his younger years. Oscar's father tells a story about how young Oscar took his Godmother's camcorder and ran around his own baptism filming the entire thing while his Godmother chased him around in an effort to get the camera back. Oscar is an American filmmaker, writer, producer, director, businessman, and entrepreneur. His love for writing, directing, storytelling, and creative visuals developed early on in his childhood. Oscar tells a story of how his mother took him to a theater in Costa Mesa, CA to watch James Cameron's "Titanic" at a young age. The film ended up becoming one of Oscar's all-time favorite films and early influences. Throughout his childhood, Oscar's mother continued to take him with her to the local cinema to watch films. Later in life, Oscar earned a Business Marketing degree from California State University Fullerton and found out upon graduating that James Cameron and Kevin Costner (Dances With Wolves; The Bodyguard) had once attended his alma mater. Some of Oscar's early influences were artists such as Jim Carey, Robin Williams, Dave Chappelle, Denzel Washington, Will Smith, Nicolas Cage, Jada Pinkett Smith, Kathryn Bigelow, Martin Scorsese, James Cameron, Ed Wood, Quentin Tarantino, Lawrence Bender, and Alfred Hitchcock.
