Eddie

Eddie is an English springer spaniel police dog owned by expert dog handler, Martin Grime. He detects the odour of human cadavers, as well as blood. A veteran of over 200 homicide cases, Eddie is an Enhanced Victim Recovery Dog (EVRD) who has worked with the South Yorkshire Police Service in the UK and the Federal Bureau of Investigation in the United States. Eddie is most famous for detecting the odour of a human cadaver in the Praia Da Luz holiday apartment of the McCann family in 2007, during the Polícia Judiciária's investigation into the disappearance of Madeleine McCann.
