Mohamed Fakhro

Bahraini filmmaker and co-founder of Blu Steel Films W.L.L. Mohamed Fakhro studied film in Paris at EICAR International Film School, where he majored in directing. Fakhro recognized the untapped potential of the filmmaking industry here in Bahrain, and is now committed to elevate and shine the standard of film production in Bahrain to new heights. In 2018, Fakhro wrote, produced and directed "Cloven", his first short horror (after film school) which was based on a popular Bahraini folklore. "Cloven" received recognition domestically and also on an international level when it got selected to screen at "Screamfest 2018" in Hollywood, the largest and longest running horror film festival in the United States. It also made "Cloven" the first ever Bahraini short film to enter the festival and the only Arab film to enter that year. His next highly anticipated short "CULT", is currently under production with Bahraini based production house, Blu Steel Films W.L.L.
