Emily Kretzer is a Los Angeles based On-Camera Host, Producer, Director, and Documentary Filmmaker. A natural-born storyteller, Emily's capacity to connect to others through film and journalism is evident in her work. Her recent role as Co-Producer of the ESPN film "Bobcats On Three", which followed the Paradise High School Girls' Varsity Basketball Team after the deadly Camp Fire in 2018, saw her overseeing much of the film's on-site production. She was a recurring host for Young Hollywood and a Host/Producer for LiveXLive, where she specialized in developing, writing, and delivering music and pop culture news and conducting artist interviews. Emily has directed and produced a number of music videos for artists including Tommy Newport, Rynn, Cub Sport, Metric, Blaise, Outasight, Greta Van Fleet, and Reece. She has appeared in music videos for Quinn XCII and Smashing Pumpkins. She has also produced and directed editorial work for WestwoodWestwood and Spotify. Emily is also a passionate advocate for mental health awareness, suicide prevention, and harm reduction. She was the host for the official live stream of the 2019 EDC festival, where she interviewed EDM artists about their experiences with mental health for Well Being Trust. Emily frequently utilizes her social media following to discuss her own struggles with mental illness, encouraging and uplifting her community through her personal testimonials. An activist for change, Emily makes her voice known on issues regarding racial injustices, prison reform, the climate crisis, voting, animal rights/rescue, and other social and political causes.
