Jonny Santana has been making movies for over a decade. His passion for film writing and directing began at four years old after he walked out of his first movie theater experience. He began creating short films in Elementary school and through the act of making movies he successfully thought himself how to write a screenplay, fluently edit, and all the skills needed to direct and lead a film production. In sixth grade he screened his show "The Daily Comet" to the whole school, 600 students and teachers, every other week that year. At 15 years old he began work on his first feature film "Fruit Juice". When he was 17 it premiered in a theater in San Diego to his community and city, and is is now being distributed by Amazon Prime. After finishing his first feature he immediately began production of his next feature film "The Empty Iris". After two years of hard work "The Empty Iris" premiered in San Diego's very own Balboa Park. And is finding distribution through film festivals all over the world and online platforms. Since then he has collaborated with numerous artists and professionals in San Diego and abroad.
