Garrett was born in Los Angeles, Ca. Wanting to follow in his father's foot steps, Garrett developed an early interest in acting as a child. He preformed in various plays through his youth, but eventually turned to studying acting and filmmaking vigorously at the age of 18, shortly after dropping at of college to pursue acting effectively. In the summer of 2016, Garrett joined James Franco's studio 4, where he studied Meisner extensively, learnt filmmaking, and went on to write and direct his own plays years later, some of which he plans to publish in coming months. He has studied with the likes of James Franco, James Caan, Matthew Scott Snyder, Tony Savant, Scott Caan, and Val Lauren- all of whom have been influential in his career. Garrett is best known for his roles in Saved by the bell, Ballers, Most Guys are Losers, and his recently lead feature film, Wrong Side of Dead, starring Beverly D'Angelo. Garrett C. Phillips is an avid artist, both in his pursuit of acting and directing, but also in film photography, writing, craft coffee; he is constantly pursuing to perfect that in which he lacks.
