Brendon "Big Lad" Jones was born on October 11, 1989 in Cairns, Australia. He is the son of Jonathon Jones and Marian Jones. His father, although born in Kenya, is of Welsh/English descent, and his mother is of English/Australian background. Having lived along the eastern coast of Queensland all of his life, the beach was a part of the family. His father, once a member of Palm Cove Surf Club, encouraged his children to participate and follow in his footsteps, instead, he preferred the supporting sides of the sport. Brendon began his involvement in sports in the early years of high school, boxing and motorsport taking the preference. After succumbing to a spinal injury, the search begun for a new career. Making his debut in "Drawing Hope" in 2017 as an extra, Brendon decided that this was his future. With "Occupation" and "Occupation: Rainfall" added to the list of background roles, seeing what goes on in feature films has generated an interest in writing scripts for short/feature films. More to come in 2019...
