Jenny Popovich

Jenny has a BFA in Acting from Ball State University and an MA in Arts and Cultural Management from Michigan State University. She is working on her MFA in Film and Television Directing at Columbia College Chicago. Her first film, Skinhead, was a nominee for Best Writing and Best Music and the winner for Best Twist at the Independent Horror Movie Awards. Skinhead was also an Official Selection at Motor City Nightmares International Film Festival, and a finalist at the Video Scream International Film Festival. Her feature length Screenplay, Monster Girl, was the winner for Best Feature Screenplay-Drama at the WPRN Women's International Film Festival, The Summer in the South Film Festival, and The Lady Filmmakers Film Festival. Her horror short You've Got Mail was the Winner, Best Horror, at the Hollywood Blood Horror Festival and a nominee for Best Actor at the Horrors4You Film Festival and an Official Selection at the Best Horror Shorts Film Festival. Her comedy short, Full Bladder, was a Winner at the WPRN Women's International Film Festival. Jenny was the lead actress in the horror short, The Frightened President, which has been featured in several film festivals in Brazil, Mexico, Italy, the US, and India. Jenny was a Video Production Intern at FCB, Chicago.
