Krasimir Kalushev

Krasimir Kalushev is a Bulgarian director and screenwriter. He was born in Burgas, Bulgaria. He is currently studying Film & Television Directing in the National Academy of Theatre and Film Arts. Since the beginning of his studying at the Academy, his films received acclaim on a number of international film festivals - including festivals in Bulgaria, Romania, Lebanon, China, Iran and many others. Among the great successes of Krasimir Kalushev is the prestigious award for best pitching story at the 14th Global Chinese Universities Student Film Festival in Hong Kong - for his project "Life", where he defeated competition from over 80 universities around the world. The prize was presented to him by the jury chairman - the director Anthony Chen, who won the "Golden Camera" award for his debut film at the 66th edition of the festival in Cannes.
