Julia Fulmer

Julia Fulmer is a 19 year-old from South Carolina, who has always loved movies. She began making home videos with her siblings when she was just a young girl and enjoyed playing soccer. Then, at 13, her life took an unexpected turn when she was diagnosed with T-Cell ALL. Her cancer journey brought with it many challenges, but also offered the opportunity for Julia to develop her "voice" as a storyteller. She began to tell her cancer journey story through video projects and created a YouTube channel to showcase her work. Many are surprised at how comedic her work is, given her challenging circumstances, but Julia has always maintained a positive outlook on life and her film work leans heavily toward satire.
