Lucy Linger

Lucy Linger is a writer and director working in film, TV and theatre. Her debut short film Love Lies premiered in Hollywood in 2019 and in the UK in 2020, and also featured in the short film catalogue at Cannes film festival where her short film script #writerslife was official selection for ShortsTV's The Pitch competition. She featured in their TV programme which was filmed during her time in Cannes, pitching to a live audience in the UK pavilion. Lucy runs a film company, Linger Longer Films, which focuses on character lead stories. They are committed to gender equality, featuring 50/50 cast and crew gender split including at least one female in the camera department. She also runs a theatre company, Threadbare Theatre Company, which she established in 2003 and is one of the longest running fringe theatre companies in London. Her work has gained national press recognition featuring in Time Out, The Stage, The Independent, and The Metro among others.
