Alexandra Marie Wehr was born in Princeton, New Jersey and was raised in Harmony Township, a small rural community. She is of Panamanian decent (from her paternal grandfather), Calabrian decent (from her paternal grandmother), Irish, and Polish descent. Her mother, Leslie (Potts), who raised Wehr as a single parent, is a real estate agent whose family is originally from South Plainfield, New Jersey. Wehr discovered impersonations when she developed a passion for acting at a young age. Wehr began acting in the theater program at Ramapo College of New Jersey where she made her stage debut in a production of an adaptation of Charles L. Mee's "Trojan Women 2.0". She appeared in many more productions throughout her undergraduate degree before launching her acting career in Washington, DC where she made her film debut as the Jogger in The Pick Up (2018).
