Ben McCarthy

Ben McCarthy is a writer, director and actor. He is best known for his short stories on Kindle. Ben is known for his very inventive story plots and for his ability to surprise his readers. As of 2017, he is working on the When Murder Calls film which will be his breakout film as a director and a writer. He is known to collaborate with Bryan Grooters, Joshua James and other talented people. Ben McCarthy was born in Grand Rapids, MI. He went to Byron Center Public Schools where he first met Bryan Grooters. They had a reputation in the school for making goofy videos and even had their videos as a part of the school news. This is where their passion for making film began. Later in life they would make a pact that they would become filmmakers. After graduating Ben met his soon to be wife Stephanie McCarthy. Today they have three boys. Ben also has a Bachelor's Degree in International Business with a minor in Management. He is pursuing his MBA as well. Ben is continuing to write stories and film. When Murder Calls is just his start.
