Rock musician and actor Luke Dalton (full name Luke Thomas Dalton) had a keen interest in listening to music at a very early age. He began to learn the piano at the age of 11 and spent much of his spare time composing music. He gained a National Diploma in Music Practice at Kidderminster College and took a Foundation Degree in Commercial Music at the University of Chichester. While studying a BMus (Hons) Degree at the University of Wolverhampton he became the keyboard player for the rock band Kallon. Their debut single "Falling" has had radio play in the United States and the UK. "Falling" also entered the Amazon bestselling charts during its first week of release. He has also composed music as a solo musician. Luke Dalton's interest in acting coincided with his interest in music. During his time at Ridgewood High School he began to take an interest in drama. He took part in school plays including Grease, Oliver, Singing in the Rain and My Fair Lady. In his twenties he performed outdoor Shakespeare in various parts of the UK with a theatre group called the Base Tikes. He had roles in Hamlet, The Tempest, Julius Caesar, and Antony and Cleopatra. His performance as Enobarbus in Antony and Cleopatra garnered very good reviews in the Birmingham Mail and he appeared with the Base Tikes in a publicity article in the Metro newspaper. He recently had a role as Private. S. Bradbury in the TV mini-series War Above the Trenches (2018) and played the role of a teacher in the crime drama Enrichment (2016).
