Cherrie Garden is an actress, media personality, and journalist from Kingston, Jamaica. Garden took up theatre, and dance at the Berkshire Art/Theatre School, and became fluent in a number of different dance styles from tap to salsa, as well as dramatic stage acting. Her initial introduction to the industry started as a swimsuit model in Atlanta, and New York landing her as a semi-finalist in the Miss Jamaica-World pageant in early 2000. She made a stronger push into the Media aspect of Entertainment in 2007 as a TV host for the show Caribbean Focus TV, with various cameos in television shows and films like "Stomp the Yard 2." In 2016 Cherrie went on a national tour as the lead actress in the comedic theatrical play "Resident Alien" about a young immigrant searching to find a green card and acceptance in America. That same year she landed a lead actress role in the controversial con-artist film "Whitefolks", and the short film "The Contendings of Misery and Solace." In the course of 8 years, Cherrie Garden has built up a very influential sway in the Caribbean community as a TV host, event host, and media personality. She is the Executive Producer and Journalist of the inspirational documentary series entitled "Go the Distance with Cherrie Garden." The series brings us into the lives of everyday people who have discovered how to turn pain into power are now using that power to change the lives of the World. Through acting, and journalism Cherrie is building her media company Cherrie Garden.TV into a formidable media titan, while bringing life and excitement through her brand Caribbean, Inspiration, and Adventure.
