Sebastián was born in Lima, Peru, on September 5, 1990. He attended Markham College, obtained his Bachelor's Degree in Audiovisual Communication at the Pontifical Catholic University of Peru (PUCP), and his Master of Arts in Film Directing at MetFilm School in London. He is a member of the Apreci - Peru's Film Press Association and the OFCS - Online Film Critics Society, and a RottenTomatoes.com-approved film critic, as well as co-founder and editor of FotografiaCalato.com and NoEsEnSerie.com. He wrote for the book «Video Games You Will Never Play», by the Unseen64 collective, and is a staff member at Nintendo.Pe and Fans of Zelda Peru, as well as film websites Cinencuentro, MeGustaElCine.com and Ventana Indiscreta. Additionally, he occasionally writes for independent film website film-cred.com, and worked for the 18th, 23rd and 25th Lima Film Festivals. He is also part of the Star Wars Fan Club Peru staff. Since January 2012, he has been publishing film and video reviews on his own blog, Proyectando Ideas. He worked for almost three years as an Assistant Director at Eureka Digital, taking part in various audiovisual advertising projects; his work as first assistant director and co-editor of the web series "Con Mi Novio No Te Metas" stands out. Additionally, in 2019 he co-created and directed the gastronomic web show «TLC - Todas las Cremas», dedicated to visiting the most iconic restaurants in Lima. He also directed three projects while studying in London: the short films "Flicker" (written by Sebastià Rambla-Vidal) and "Iceolation" (written by Briony McMahon), and a web show called "The Fandom Presents" (created by Joshua Smith). As of mid-2022, he is supervising the post-production process of two short films he directed, "Chavez" and "La importancia de un sofá", both shot in Lima, Peru.
