Matthew Scott Scarboro was born December 5, 1988 in Statesville, North Carolina. He is the son of James William Scarboro, a previous Nuclear Health Physics Technician, and business owner, and his late mother Amy Lee Scarboro was a business owner in alternative healthcare. As a child, Scarboro grew up playing your typical sport such as baseball, football, and basketball, following naturally into his father's footsteps in baseball at a young age winning many local and state batting titles along with several championships. He found a love for cartooning and drawing having been born into a family of film lovers, winning many art contest at his local school. At the age of 8, Scarboro begged his mother and father to buy him a dirt bike, but given that his family made a very modest income, they simply couldn't afford one. To his surprise, Scarboro's parents scraped together enough money and bought a dirt bike which started out as a father and son hobby, but soon there-after became the start of his young career in amateur Motocross. Racking up hundreds of wins throughout his amateur career of 8 years, Scarboro turned pro at the young age of 16 with a promising future as a professional. Throughout his amateur racing career, Scarboro learned the importance of advertising by self-teaching how to use photo and video editing programs to cut down on out of pocket costs. After almost two decades of indulging himself into movies, he always found visual effects and animation fascinating and a good way to draw his target audience in. After signing contracts with several satellite support race teams over several years, Scarboro finally caught his break with a factory based support contract to race a full season of the AMA (American Motorcyclist Association) East Coast Supercross series with the best racers in the world. But in February of 2012, Scarboro had a career ending injury during his preseason test session, destroying his talus bone almost losing his leg from the knee down. After a decade of working in the film industry on movies such as "Blood Done Sign My Name" and working in the nuclear power industry as his primary career, Scarboro founded his production company EZImaginations, LLC in 2015. Scarboro is a writer, producer, director, and visual effects compositor for his company.
