Randa Ali is a filmmaker from Cairo, Egypt. In 2019, she was awarded a full-ride scholarship to study directing at the UCLA's School of Theater, Film and Television's MFA program in Los Angeles, California. She is also a recipient of the Delia Salvi Memorial Award for Directing the Actor, the Hollywood Foreign Press Association Fellowship and the 2022 UCLA's Director Spotlight award. Randa is interested in stories that explore the individual through their relationship with their city.
