Robb Rokk

Robb was born and raised in Memphis before moving to New England at 15. Later moving back home to the south, after starting screenwriting and working as Creative director for an ad agency, he started his own production company, then started a non-profit - DeSoto Arts Institute - to teach filmmaking, screenwriting, acting, and music, free of charge to young people. His films utilize students as crew members giving them hands-on experience and training on real film productions, thus giving them legitimate film credits. Robb's films have made the top ten cut for all four years in The Memphis Film Prize Festival with CamOps and other crew as young as 13 years old. Robb is involved in ministry and can be found lunker bass fishing and playing guitar in his free time.
