Born in Jamshedpur, India, Saroni moved to Mumbai, India, for her higher education where she spent a decade working as a journalist and later moved to Sydney, Australia, post surviving first-stage Cancer. Hailing from a family of artists and singers, Performing & Visual Arts is a way of life for her and she got her training in Indian Semi-Classical singing and in several dance forms since the age of three, namely Kathak, Bharatnatyam, Odissi and Flamenco. She started her career in Screen Acting in leading Film Schools in Sydney and has appeared in a number of Australian, American & European Film and TV productions. In 2018 Saroni won the Ms India Australia Goodwill Ambassador title at the Miss/Mrs/Mr. India Australia beauty pageant, for her extensive contribution towards community welfare and world peace and has continually won several awards and accolades for her diversity, sustainability and social justice initiatives.
