Jovanny Benitez

Jovanny Benitez was born on August 8th 1996 in Guadalajara, Jalisco Mexico. He came to the United States at the age of 7 in 2004. In 2013, He took an internship with a small production company. This peeked his interest in the film industry. however, all throughout High School, Jovanny was writing poems that he will deem as song lyrics and compose songs with his guitar. As a music major, he became uninterested in music theory and decided to go into the film program at California State University of Los Angeles. in 2018 he wrote, produced and directed his first short film Apex.
