Terrance Carty

Terrance Carty, the third of four children, was born in Anguilla and moved to the United States when he was a teenager. His father, Audley is from Anguilla and worked as a banker and his mother, Theresa, is from Dominica and is a hair stylist. He moved to Florida when he was a teenager and graduated high school in Miami; joining the military immediately afterwards. After serving eight years, Carty began pursuing his career in acting and writing. Carty attended Playhouse West acting school in Los Angeles and studied the Meisner technique of acting. During his time studying at Playhouse West, Carty appeared on stage in productions of The Sunset Limited, Orange Flower Water and Nothing Compares to You. His additional stage credit includes acting in the production of The Grieving Widows Auxiliary, directed by Naomi Stenson.
