Jacqueline is triple threat performer originally from Hamilton, Ontario. She currently resides in Toronto and recently toured with Smile Theatre in Jim Betts' new music "Granny Penny's Grand Adventure" where she originated the role of Joy. Her love for performing began at the age of 3 when her mother took her to ballet class because Jacqueline was "a hyper kid who wouldn't stop moving". She later trained in jazz and modern and began performing in full length ballets. A few years later she danced her first lead role as "Clara" in The Nutcracker with Ballet Ouest de Montreal. Jacqueline then toured for two seasons in Ballet Jorgen Canada's The Nutcracker. She attended Westdale Secondary School's French Immersion program and IB program. She participated in the Sears Ontario Drama Festival for 4 consecutive years. She also studied at the Theatre Aquarius Summer Performing Arts Program for many years and played leading roles in RENT, Aspects of Love and The Who's Tommy. Jacqueline is a graduate of Sheridan College's Honours Bachelor of Music Theatre Performance program in Oakville, Ontario. When she is not onstage or in front of the camera, Jacqueline enjoys reading Jane Austen, drinking copious amounts of tea and knitting. She also loves swimming and playing with her adopted cat, Duchess (yes, she is named after the Disney movie "The Aristocats") and her sweet dog Kyveli. Jacqueline is thrilled to be part of Smile Serenades as well as teaching dance all throughout the GTA with Quick Ball Change.
