Ethan Feaster is an independent filmmaker born and raised in Palmer, Alaska. Since the age of eleven Ethan has had a burning passion to tell stories through the art of cinema. Since then he has gone on to teach himself the art of film making by making two full length feature films with the help of a few local friends and family. Ethan began his film making career with his first feature film, Crowhaven. Which he premiered at his High School's theater. After a successful premiere, Ethan was inspired and excited to get to work on a bigger and better feature film. After a brief fund raising campaign, Ethan was able to raise enough money to film his second feature film Codicia. Codicia went on to premiere at the Glenn Massey Theater in Alaska and had a successful premiere after nearly selling out the theatre. Between the two feature films, Ethan was able to film ten short films, after a brief festival run Ethan was able to collect a few awards for his work. The most noteworthy being the Scholastic Silver Key in Dramatic writing which was awarded to him out of 346,000 participants, the title of best student film at the Canada International Film Festival for his work on The Journey in 2019, and receiving a bronze medal twice for competing in the Spotlight Short Film Awards for his work on Drapetomania and The Journey. To this day Ethan continues to pursue his passion of storytelling as he has just graduated from Vancouver Film School and has collaborated, developed, and shot more short films alongside his fellow filmmakers.
