Richie O'Connell

Richie O Connell was born in Limerick on 14 September 1983 and spent most of his childhood in the seaside town of Kilkee, County Clare.. He is an author and filmmaker living in Cork City. His short story "Cigarettes & Apparitions" was published in the anthology "Writing4all: The Best of 2009" and his novella "Nikolis Cole: The Low-Rise Saint" was published by Grinning Skull Press. His short film "Dry" (2014) won a Donal Walsh Live Life Film Festival Award and his short "Hush Clowns" (2017) won the Elevation Indie Film Festival Spotlight Award.
