Neriman Altindag Tufekci who was born in 1926, completed his primary education in Nene Hatun Primary School and in Nisantasi Girls High School in 1942. in 1942, the year he finished high school, he entered Ankara Radio as an intern artist at the age of 16 with an examination.He is the first person to choose this specialty after the Turkish Folk Music leaves as an independent branch. in 1949, he was appointed Deputy Chief of Yurtlar Sesler Korosu. He received the title of repetitive in 1950 and soloist in 1953. in 1957, he founded and directed the Women's Choir. He was appointed to Istanbul Radio in 1959. In addition to soloist on Istanbul Radio, he founded and directed the Voices From Homeland Women's Choir. He also served as Deputy Director of Turkish Music Brance returned to Ankara Radio in 1972 and continued his soloing and conducting duties there. in order to participate in the establishment of the Turkish Mush.Hic State Conservatory in Istanbul, he left TRT in 1976 and was appointed to the Conservatory as a Founding Board Member and Lecturer. He has a son named Memil Sarisozen (1952) from his marriage with Muzaffer Sarisozen and a daughter named Gamze (Tufekci) Yazici (1958) from his marriage with Nida Tufekci
