Ali Sedaghat Karimi

Ali Sedaghat Karimi was born in 1977, in Mashhad, Iran. He began his artistic career as a photographer when he was 19. As an award-winning play writer and director, he made his first film in 2001. During this time he made several short films and documentaries many of them screened as the official selection in local and international film festivals. The Coming Twilight is his first feature film which was made in 2013. It was premiered internationally but is still banned locally for public screening.
