Renee Rose is a 22-year-old theatrically trained Latina actress-writer-creative with an extensive athletic background and a passion for telling stories that empower the Latinx community. Training in parkour and film fighting at Joining All Movement in Los Angeles, Renee is gearing up for this next chapter in her career as she dips into the world of stunts. Renee has worked with film professionals such as Gregg Hale of The Blaire Witch Project, Oscar watch list actress and Emmy award-winning director Katie O'Grady, and director Wendy Faraone. In Portland Oregon, she trained in the highly acclaimed acting studio, Acting For Kids and Teens, where she trained in the master class for four years. In early 2020, she moved to Los Angeles and now continues her training at Anthony Meindl's Actors Workshop. From Renee: My goal is to create Latinx-focused content that gives audiences the representation they've been longing. As someone that grew up biracial in one of the whitest regions of the U.S, I understand the tug-of-war-battle of navigating identity. Because I never saw anyone like me on screen as a kid and had few Hispanic influences, I became the mixed kid (mixedtina, as I like to say) that never got a full grasp of what it meant to be "mixed". Now that I'm older and have more pride in my Chicana roots, I use my voice and love for storytelling to celebrate diversity within the Hispanic community.
