Jimmy Tetrov is an Israeli-born actor, musician and filmmaker from Barcelona, Spain. With an extensive career in music and film, he starred in various independent films and musical projects, for which he received multiple accolades, including a Mofilm award for Pepsi Revolution (2011) (2011) and and International Talent Award (2001). Jimmy began his career at age nineteen recording his first album Living My Dream (1999). A few years later he won first prize at the International Talent Awards Berlin (2001) performing his original song Shining Star (2001) which was broadcasted on SFB, the German national television channel. From 2003 to 2005, Tetrov attended the University of Cinematographic and Performing Arts of Barcelona with a major in Acting, Screenwriting and Directing where he made his debut short film In Heaven Not in Hell (2003) (2003). While studying, Jimmy was signed with Filmax Music he released the number one single Going Under (2003) and the second hit single Run Away (2005) (2004) for which he produced a music video. Both songs were on Spanish top radio charts and were featured on CD compilations that sold over thirty thousand copies. Jimmy recorded the second album Going Under (2022) (2005) with Elite Groove Records. He performed locally at some of the best venues in Barcelona. Tetrov continued on the musical path and recorded his third album Dancing Dust (2006), at that time he toured in Israel. Soon after he joined the musical group Love Will Conquer (2008) with whom he recorded the fourth album, which was followed up by the fifth album Now or Never (2021) (2010) produced in Nowhere Music, featuring the hit single Revolution that won a Sol Musica Best Music Video of the week Award. Revolution was also featured in the short film that Tetrov produced Pepsi Revolution (2011) which earned him a worldwide Mofilm award and established him to work as a filmmaker and musician with brands including Lay's Irresistable (2012) (2012), Burn Energy - Move Yourself Into the Fire (2012) (2012) Diners Club International: Carpe Diem (2013) (2013) which was nominated at the Cannes Ad Festival, Smirnoff: Kiss Kiss Bang Bang (2013) (2013), Banco Itau: La Libertad Financiera (2014) (2014), Lipton: Crazy World (2014) (2015) The Opening of Eataly Moscow (2017) (2017) among others. From 2015 to 2017 Tetrov started a project called Watch & Go, an interactive App that features over a hundred videos of establishments such as bars, restaurants, cafes and nightclubs in Barcelona and Tel Aviv. His acting career progressed with a starring role Jacob Jill in the short film Awake (2012) (2012) Roman Porter in the TV Movie I/Nation (2013) (2013) Elston Gunn in the TV Series Magnum Opus (2015) (2015) and as himself in the TV Series Moscow with an Accent (2019) (2019). Tetrov's directorial ventures include the short film BP: Nice to Meet You (2014) (2014) the horror film No Return Modern Vampires of BCN (2014) (2015) the thriller sci-fi Personal Data (2017) (2017) and the thriller horror Welcome to My World (2022) that includes an original motion picture soundtrack which will be Jimmy's sixth album. Tetrov runs a media company and advertising agency and is involved in various entrepreneurial endeavours.
