Kailesh Reitmans

Kailesh Reitmans is a composer for film, theatre, and media based in Sydney, Australia. With a background in classical piano, his music ranges from orchestral works to ambient, synth based compositions. His music ventures have led him from jazz and contemporary piano gigs to sound designing live theatre productions as well as composing for screen. After winning the 2017/18 Artology Fanfare Competition, he went on to sound design for live Australian theatre productions, and then in 2018 he completed a Bachelor of Music from the Australian Institute of Music, majoring in composition and music production. Most recently, he composed the score for "Descent", which won the Documentary Australian Foundation Award at the 2020 Sydney Film Festival.
