Abhilash Shetty

Abhilash Shetty is an Indian filmmaker, screenwriter, and actor. He began his career by making short films that have garnered critical acclaim and numerous accolades. He made his directorial debut with the Kannada film Koli Taal (2021) which premiered at 21st New York Indian Film Festival, was later screened, and won numerous accolades at various film festivals in the USA, Australia, Germany, and South Korea. Abhilash studied at Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalaya, Shimoga. He pursued his bachelor's and master's degree in Commerce. Abhilash Shetty is a self-taught filmmaker who quit his corporate job to pursue his filmmaking dreams.
