Matthew S. Findley

Matthew S. Findley is an Appalachian filmmaker with fifteen screenplays and several small feature films under his belt. Born on a military base, raised on Cherokee land in Southern Appalachia, Matt graduated from Paul Laurence Dunbar High School in Lexington, Kentucky. He attended film school at USC & UCLA in Los Angeles and holds an MBA in marketing and international business from INSEAD in France & Singapore. Matt completed an undergraduate degree in chemical and biomolecular engineering at the University of Washington in Seattle, studied counseling & clinical psychology at Ateneo de Manila University in the Philippines, and trained theatrically in Los Angeles, principally under the Yale technique. He speaks Chinese.
