Vernon Mina was flown out to New York to test for SNL and was a featured comedian at the NBC Breakout Comedy Festival. Honduran born, Chicago raised, Vernon is a writer and performer best known for his work with The Second City National Touring Company and the Annoyance Theater in Chicago, where he was part of Trigger Happy an Improv team directed by Mick Napier. He launched his solo show, SOLO YO which held and extended run at the Flat Iron Comedy Theater. Vernon produced, hosted, and performed in the first Latinx Showcase for The Second City and is part of the all Spanish Improv team Heraldo at iO Chicago. He has also appeared on the travel show parody HIDDEN AMERICA WITH JONAH RAY for Seeso, the sketch comedy series Hot Date for PopTV, and has been featured in several commercials for McDonald's. Vernon performs regularly on the Chicago comedy circuit and is a proud NBC Bob Curry Fellow.
