Maria Villarejo

Maria Villarejo is a young actress from Barcelona. She is currently studying in the Institut del Teatre from Barcelona and combining her acting studies with the Psychology degree at the Universitat de Barcelona. Recently she has played a role as Andrea in Matar al Padre, a Movistar + Serie TV show (directed by Mar Coll, 2017); and in the four seasons of Oh my goig!, a BTV TV show (Camile Zonca, 2017-2020), as Emma. At the theatre, she played the role of Anna in La Rebel.lia Possible (directed by Jose Sanchez Orosa, 2017) and Julieta in the play Más allá de Verona (directed by Albert Pueyo, 2017). Previously, she has worked for three years for the theatre company Magatzem d'Ars, acting in over eight different plays represented in several theaters around Barcelona and/or on tour in some schools throughout Spain: The Snow White (2014), La rateta presumida (2014), Little Mermaid (2014), The Wizard of Oz (2015), The jungle book (2015), Oliver Twist (2015), La casa de Bernarda Alba (2015), The little prince (2015)... . Maria's earlier acting training was in the schools of Nancy Tuñon, Laura Jou and Eva Gris. She has been taking singing and dancing classes (contemporary dance) for over six years.
