Richard (Rick) Samuel was born on January 28, 1965 in Baltimore, Maryland. He graduated magna cum laude from UMBC in 1994 with a degree in Geography. His first role was as a gang member in the 1990 John Waters movie "Cry-Baby" and since then he has appeared in commercials, television and film, portraying characters including a civil rights worker, a police officer, a judge, a CIA agent, a shooting victim, and a doorman.
