Jamie Lazan

Jamie Lazan is a creative producer and multidisciplinary artist passionate about community-building and bringing to life stories that foster empathy and light to people's souls. She studied with Stella Adler Studio of Acting curating devised theatre and original work as director, choreographer, writer, producer and performer. She further studied film, theatre and Human Services at SUNY New Paltz, and earned a trauma and resilience certificate in arts therapy. Jamie founded The Human Arts Collective, an expressive production collective, where new works, productions, experiences, retreats and more are curated to embrace the full spectrum of human experience. She produced a multimedia gallery and arts festival, devised theatre show, taught film and theatre at French Woods Festival, directed a virtually-crafted, experimental short, "Returning Home", awarded by the City Artist Corp Grant and Queens Museum for her evocative and interdisciplinary art focus. Jamie has been featured as a Creative Changemaker in "Formidable Women's Magazine." She is always excited to create from a place of play, authenticity, and embodied expression.
