Paul van Hest

Paul van Hest was born in Turnhout, Belgium. Already during his youth, he played lead roles on school stage, amateur theater and performed stand up comedian. It was not until 2016, that he had more time to go back to acting. After two years, (and still going) of training, workshops and courses, he slowly but surely started back in early 2017. It did not take long time, before casting agents, production houses and directors saw his potential. He was offered smaller parts first in TV-Series, commercials and short-films, but soon the parts became bigger. 2018 started very promising with nice roles in Dossier X, Professor T, Gameday and the first real big project The Cleaner was there. Paul van Hest was offered the lead role, in what already is called a very promising film. This short will be sent to the festivals first, but the producer's idea is to take it to a feature film. Being 57 years old, he is an example, showing that you can still break through at any age. Few other projects are waiting, so the story continues...
