Lisa Gilbertson (Marshall) was a small town girl, raising 3 kids til she fell in love with Phil Marshall, an airline captain for Sun Country. His dream was to write and record music, so she put her house up for sale and moved to Nashville. Phil gone often with his job meant Lisa was alone in a new city with no friends until she met a girl poolside who was an inspiring actress. She told Lisa that she had a good look and should try background work. Up until then, Lisa had a love for movies and TV but never really knew what background work was. So after getting some info Lisa started submitting and the rest is pretty much history. She has worked on shows like Nashville, Dynasty, Macgyver, The Hauting of Hill House, The Originals, Vampire Diaries, Still the King, Homicide Hunter, Snapped, Fatal Attractions and blockbuster movies like Pitch Perfect 3, Jumanji, All Saints, Baywatch, Office Christmas Party, Logan Lucky and many more. Her weirdest job, a hand double in the last Fast and Furious 8 movie. Her goals are to get on Grey's Anatomy at least once as it's her favorite show and do some horror movies, which is her favorite genre. Lisa had a few brief lines as Doctor Hackett on Homicide Hunter (Episode: Officer Down) but prefers non-speaking roles due to her anxiety. She just loves the behind the scenes and the people you meet on sets. She claims there is never a boring day. It's long hours, and sometimes horrible food but she can't imagine doing anything else. Lisa is also a writer, having had some of her articles, stories and blogs published, she also writes for the Cards Against Humanity game, she loves photography and traveling. She goes home to Wisconsin to camp in the summer but any other time you can catch her at one of her husbands shows as he has a national touring Journey tribute band or submitting and road tripping to work on new TV shows and films. Already in 2019 you will be able to catch her on Sextuplets on Netflix and Tyson's Run (Feature Film).
