Ambarish Majumdar is an award winning lyricist. Beside writing film songs he has also written quite a number of jingles and non film songs. Ambarish is also an aspiring screenwriter and a Gulzar aficionado. His recent work for the Bengali film "Flat No 609" won him the "Mirchi Music Award 2018". He is the grand son of yesteryear celebrated Bengali filmmaker Sukumar Dasgupta.
