Emmy is an Egyptian American Actress, Screenwriter & Lyricist from Texas. Born February 13th. After graduating from University of Houston Clear Lake, She was offered a job as a digital content specialist/copyright manager at one of the largest music production companies in Egypt "Free Music Production". She wrote well known classic Egyptian songs, she is most known for Wad Ya Asmarany (Tanned One) / Hamid ElShari, Yateem(Orphan)/Moustafa Shawky, Hassa Demoak (Feeling your tears) /Faty & Zalan (Upset)/ Farida. Arabic poetry structure played a significant role in shaping her English lyrics style as well. Returned to Texas in 2005. Eman suffered from a virus that impacted the nervous system affecting her physical abilities for few years delayed her plans. She started teaching at an elementary school in Texas, to support kids emotionally and academically. Eman wrote, directed her first short film, Lives in me in 2019 as she played the role of Jasmine. She is focusing on her acting career. Eman has been involved in many short & feature film projects . Emmy is an award winning actress & filmmaker, she received multiple awards and nominations at many film festivals. In 2021, she received an award from Arab America for her achievements as a lyricist and filmmaker in the US and the Middle East.
