Allan is an ex Merchant Navy Navigating Officer . He also spent many years in British Professional Wrestling as a Master of Ceremonies and referee. Though now retired from that, he is still a Boxing MC. Active as a singer/ compere for over forty years, he still enjoys his musical engagements and plays a variety of instruments. He also likes making solo appearances in folk clubs. His musical taste stretches from Strauss to some present day tracks by various artists, but still has the highest regard for artists such as Buddy Holly and especially Roy Orbison, the man who really set the trend! He is now active as an actor, and by choice , working a lot with students; who he says are dedicated work hard working with a passion to learn and succeed. The animation project The Grandfather, where he worked with the brilliant student Gabija Zygaite has completed and discussions. Arebin process as to film festivals. It earned her a top class degree and he is absolutely so proud to be a part of it. He has produced two films for use in schools and youth establishments covering the subject of cyber bullying, the actual crimes committed in doing it, the penalties and scenario of imprisonment that may result. A real talent who he owes a lot too. He has continued acting, recently playing the role of an elderly musician with dementia. In the final tragic scenes he said the tears were really his as this was the most challenging role that he ever has played, mirroring his mothers descent into dementia, and his caring for her. Despite serious illness, plans to continue acting into 2019, and has some exciting scripts to film. His first film on cyber bullying was well received at the Benin City film festival in 2018.
