Evan-Joelle is an American actor and vocalist born in East Palo Alto, California. He began his acting career, as lead (Kenny Kahn) in Richard Torrence's touring gospel stage play, "Lord, Why Can't I Do Right?" (2014); performing with "Sunday's Best" Ashford Sanders, "Friday's" Don "DC" Curry and the "Godfather of Urban Theater" Shelly Garrett. Following his parents' example, Evan chased his aspirations wholeheartedly. At 21 years old he performed as Bobby Brown in concert at Yoshi's - Oakland alongside Dee Dee Simon in 2014 and 2015. With a background in musical theater Evan's talents allowed him to venture into film, landing his lead role as "Darnell/Shaka" in The Oakland Film Company's "The Broken Rose" (2018). He can also be seen as Terrell in Green Eyed Media's "E.14" (2019).
