Anderson Jesus da Silva born in São Paulo on November 13, 1977. He is a Brazilian TV director, filmmaker, executive producer, screen writer, and actor who began his artistic career at the Incenna Drama School. Following his TV debut with the series "Desaparecidos" in 2015 on A&E channel, Anderson became the principal director specializing in investigative and documentary series in Brazil. He is a founding partner and director of Iracema Rosa Filmes, today responsible for successful series on channels such as A&E, Sony and Discovery, as well as platforms such as Netflix, Crackle and UOL. At 2016, he founded the TNM - All Blacks of the World news and entertainment portal aimed at producing content for black audiences. on the Internet At age of 12, after a school play that he act as a slave, his teacher congratulated him and said he should think of become an actor some day. At age 18 he started to study drama. Already graduated in drama, at age 30, decided to study and work behind the cameras after an invite of a friend to write and direct an advertising video to a shoe store in the state of Minas Gerais. Thrilled with this new experience as a creator, Anderson began his studies in Video Production with a full free scholarship at São Paulo University, postgraduate in Cinema and TV at Belas Artes University and further on took screenplay writing courses with Walcyr Carrasco and documentaries with Luiz Carlos Martins. A big fan of documental and investigative series, Anderson wrote his own series called "Desaparecidos" and pitched the idea to Krishna Mahon, at the time director of content for the History channels. That same day she scheduled a meeting at the channel's headquarter in São Paulo. A year later, they signed the contract and began the production. In 2014, they signed the contract with the channel and then began the production.On November 2015, "Desaparecidos" premieres its first season on TV, broking records on Brazilian pay TV. Due to the success achieved, the production of the second season of "Desaparecidos"was performed in 2016, again by Iracema Rosa Filmes and aired in 2017. In the same year, Anderson signed a contract with Sony to produce a new missing persons program for the AXN channel. This new project was titled "Sem Rastro", which aired in 2017 with 15 episodes that pleased the audience very well. Now, the first season Missing Series is airing in Latin America on A&E and the streaming platform, Netflix. The season two is being broadcast on the same channel. Already the series "Sem Rastro" is in its third season and is constantly presented on AXN. Anderson was a rap singer. He formed a band in 93 with his friends. One of the songs got mainstream and made it to a Brazilian movie called "Bicho de sete cabeças" (seven head monster). Between 2000 and 2004, Jesus was the lead singer of a Samba band, composing many songs and some of his writing been recorded by some other Samba bands at the time. Anderson had given up song writing when sudden he received R$2,11 ($0,50) in his empty bank account for copyright. From 13 to 30 years old, Anderson worked in several different areas. Was a marketer, used to sell cleaning products from a truck, office boy, bakery helper, ticket collector on clandestine busses, clothes salesman, telemarketing operator, credit card salesman and magazine salesman. Also, was an announcer in a radio station in Uberaba, Minas Gerais. He lived there for one year when was studying street theater. He was the only child until 12 years old. His parents split up and then got back together at age 9, when he got beaten up on a dayly bases until 16 years old, been brought to the hospital unconscious. His mother, Iracema Rosa, passed away on 1998, at age 42, from an AVC. After his mother death, his father paid R$400,00 to a man to kill him, so he can keep the family house. But the killer was unable to do it.
