Orlando Pelayo was born in Autlan de Navarro, Jalisco, Mexico and is based in Los Angeles, California, USA. He is a Mexican-American film student at the University of Southern California where he relishes on film academia and collaborative projects. His animated short film "La Vista es un Regalo" won the first prize at the international student competition, Informatrix, in Bucharest, Romania.
