Buzz Blackburn did his first play in 7th grade. From that point forward, he knew performing was his calling in life. Later, he also began to perform as a musician, but his first paying job was performing in radio, he was co-star of the revolutionary (for West Tennessee anyway) "Buzz & Harvey" show from 1998-2003. There he perfected comedic call-in improv characters, and learned how to entertain a listening audience, sweeping the Jackson Sun Reader's Choice "Best Morning Radio Show" in 2001, 2002 & 2003. Buzz was named Tennessee Music Awards' 2018 "Radio DJ of the Year." Starting in 2017, Buzz also began to build a diverse career in voice over, acting for video games, narrations and audio books, as well as corporate, commercial and industrial projects. As an actor, he has performed in short films and stage productions and has joined the Actors Studio of Jackson. He's a songwriter and producer, he's the front-man of the (World's Best) Party Band, "The Buzz Kings," and is a World Class whistler, singer, bass and guitar player.
